Second Round of Admissions

Applications for the first round of admissions closed on December 5, 2025. You may still submit an application for the 2026–2027 school year which will be considered for the second round of admissions. Second-round applications will be reviewed for grades with available openings. To inquire about availability, please call our office at (201) 227-3102. Dear Families,

We are delighted that you are interested in Dwight-Englewood. We pride ourselves on our warm, friendly and informative admissions team and we are eager to introduce you to our dynamic community. We are here for you for every step of the journey- to make the admissions process enjoyable as you get to know us and we get to know you!

As the area's longest-established independent Preschool 3 through Grade 12 coeducational independent day school, we offer a diverse environment where students thrive in a variety of ways both in the classroom engaging in rigorous and challenging academic work and cocurricular activities participating in the arts, athletics, leadership and service offerings.

Our beautiful campus is located just three miles north of the George Washington Bridge attracting a unique community of 1015 students, representing more than 119 different zip codes from Bergen, Hudson and Rockland counties, as well as New York City.

We are proud of the broad-based and authentic diversity within our school community, our unique elective program in the Upper School and our strong mandate to “meet the challenges of a changing world and make it better.”
